Clear, thoughtful, transparent

Your privacy matters.

RandomBlogg is a place for different topics and one curious mind. This page explains, in plain language, what information may be handled when you visit the site or get in touch.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

The short version: we only want to use information for legitimate site functions and to respond to you. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the contact form.

1. Information you share

If you use the contact form, you may provide your name, email address and message. These details are used to read and respond to your enquiry and to keep relevant correspondence.

Please do not include passwords, financial details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information in a message.

2. Technical information and site security

Like most websites, the hosting platform and security tools may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and server logs. This information can help maintain the site, troubleshoot problems and protect against abuse.

The exact information retained depends on the hosting, caching and security services currently enabled.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

WordPress and site features may use cookies or similar technologies to support essential functions, remember preferences, maintain security or support administration. Embedded third-party content may also use its own technologies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how certain website features work.

4. Third-party services and embedded content

Articles or pages may contain content hosted by other services, such as videos, images, maps or social media embeds. When you interact with that content, the third party may collect information under its own privacy policy. Advertising is a possible future way to support RandomBlogg; this statement does not mean ads are currently running. If advertising or ad-measurement services are introduced, providers may use cookies or similar technologies to process device and browser details, approximate location, and interactions with pages or ads. Personalized ads and non-essential advertising cookies will be used only where permitted and with consent where required by law. This policy will be updated when those services are selected and before they are enabled.

Where applicable, review the privacy information provided by the relevant service before interacting with its embedded content.

5. How information may be used

  • To reply to messages and questions you send.
  • To operate, maintain and secure the website.
  • To diagnose technical issues and prevent spam or misuse.
  • To meet legal obligations where they apply.

If we later add audience analytics or advertising, the chosen provider may process page views, general device and browser details, approximate location, and interactions with pages or ads to measure readership or support ad delivery. We will identify the relevant providers and explain available choices in this policy once they are selected. Non-essential tracking will not be enabled before any notice or consent required by law is provided. We will aim to collect only information reasonably needed for the stated purpose.

6. Sharing and retention

Information may be processed by service providers that help host, secure or operate the website, or where disclosure is required by law. RandomBlogg does not sell contact-form messages or use them as advertising mailing lists. Advertising may be introduced in the future to help support the site. If that happens, third-party advertising or measurement providers may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as browser/device details, approximate location and interactions with pages or ads. We will update this policy before enabling advertising services and provide any notice or consent required by applicable law. Do not assume personalized advertising is active today.

Contact-form messages are sent to the site owner's configured email inbox and may remain in that mailbox and its provider's backups until deleted. The form is configured to email submissions; this does not by itself mean submissions are stored in a searchable WordPress database. Hosting logs, security records, caches and backups may have separate retention schedules set by the providers involved.

7. Your choices and requests

You can choose not to submit information through the contact form. Depending on the information held and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legitimate recordkeeping or legal requirements.

To make a privacy-related request, use the contact page and explain what you need. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless they are genuinely necessary and a secure method has been agreed.

8. Children’s privacy

RandomBlogg is a general personal blog and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the website or its services change. The latest version will be published on this page, with the update date shown near the top.

10. Contact
